Bracknell Forest Borough Council provides a wide range of services within the borough. It is one of the largest employers in the area with over 3,000 staff.
The Brief
To provide a wide range of catering services ranging from a simple sandwich platters to a full scale reception for over 200 people for all the local dignitaries. For the Council to be able to down-size there in-house catering operation whilst still providing catering over a wide range of locations.
To-Go Solution
To-Go's solution, to provide a flexible mobile service to multiple Councils sites, design and agree specific menus that are available online for their staff to view and select. All orders were to be delivered to one central office and then onto To-Go for production and delivery. To-Go would offer a cost effective solution that would enable the Council to control and to fulfill the needs for both their staff and visitors alike.
The Results
To-Go's mobile unit services Bracknell Forest Council and they successfully implemented an ordering system with orders submitted and fulfilled on a daily basis.
It currently caters for over 3000 staff and visitors providing, breakfast, lunch and snacks. This success has meant that the Council were able to down-size there
in-house facilities whilst increasing catering services to multiple sites offering far greater value for less money.
To-Go Catering was awarded a 4 year contract and still maintains this.
